Performing Opportunities
Performing/Competitive Company (Ages 8 & Up)
Cami Curtis Performing Arts Center (CCPAC) offers a Performing/Competitive Company to dancers ages 8 & up. Any committed dancer can become a member of the Company. A placement class will be held twice a year to determine the dancers' proper level.
Being a member of the Performing Company requires considerable focus and commitment. Dancers are expected to maintain a level of professionalism and a strong work ethic. If a dancer is lacking in any of these areas and does not address the issue, he/she risks expulsion from the Company.
This is for the serious dancer who wants to experience being part of a cohesive group working towards the goal of pre-professional performance. Dancers who are in the Performing Company will have opportunities to participate in dance competitions, company performances, and traveling overseas. Members will have the option of solos in their chosen genre(s).
The Performing/Competitive Company runs September-mid July. Company members have two months off in the summer but we highly request dancers continue to take dance classes so improvement is not hindered.
